Hello Kitty Town Malaysia Sanrio
Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is located just 10 minutes from Legoland Malaysia, in the Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park which also includes another themed cartoon town called The Little Big Club.
Hello Kitty Town is the perfect place to put on your family's travel itinerary during the rainy days in Johor. Everything is contained indoors and the entire facility is air conditioned for ultimate comfort.
This cozy little themed town doesn't have enough excitement to spend an entire day at, or even a half day for that matter, but it's a great way to spend an hour or two with your kids enjoying the Hello Kitties and their plush, colorfully-adorned world.
Note: If the boys in the family don't care for Hello Kitty, have dad take them next door to Thomas Town to meet Thomas the Tank Engine and friends.
Fun for You and the Children
Even if you or your children don't follow the Hello Kitty story, the facility has plenty of fun for parents and children ranging from toddler up to 12 years of age.
As you walk through the front door, the first attraction you'll be met with is the lovable and fun Hello Kitty teacup ride. This is currently the only ride available in the park, but it's a great way to get the kids excited for rest of the time they'll spend in Hello Kitty Town.
The Hello Kitties and Their World
The most endearing thing that your kids will remember from their visit here is definitely getting to meet all the life-sized Hello Kitty characters. Kids can snuggle up with Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pochacco and other favorites from the Japanese television series, while you take memorable pictures that will last a lifetime.
The Hello Kitty house area is designed much like the homes featured on the television show and include 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, wardrobe area and kitchen that are all adorned in the typical Hello Kitty style your kids/fans would expect.
Other Attractions
Hello Kitty Black Wonder is another popular attraction inside Sanrio Hello Kitty Park that's sure to impress the whole family. Your group will be given a list of clues, as well as a Hello Kitty lamp and sent on your way looking for Hello Kitty, who's been captured and currently being held inside a castle. Even the boys will enjoy this attraction – nobody wants to see Hello Kitty held against her will!
Your journey through Hello Kitty Town ends at the Purrfect Stage where a parade and dance featuring the characters from the franchise is held. The characters dance for the first half of the show, then bring the kids into the action during the second half, teaching them the various dance steps used by the Hello Kitties.
